Sevilla: City Of Bicycles

It´s true every city has its own character. If Madrid was a beautiful prostitute, then Sevilla is every man, woman and child on a bicycle. Those too old to take to two wheels are helped onto one of the city buses by someone who has stopped their bicycle to lend a hand. When they´re not on bicycles, they are dressed to the nines, walking around the Catedral on a Saturday evening, fanning themselves with all sorts of beautiful colors in the still-simmering evenings. Yes, the people here are friendly, always having a word of kindness, even if you insist you don´t speak the language. All photos copyright Heather Wallace.
