Although Hussein was declared to be clean of WMD's in March of 2001 by the former U.S. Sec.Gen Colin Powell, President Bush used wrong information to build a case for war against Iraq. The plan to find the so-called WMD stockpiles was a decoy story for the media and the U.N., to convince the World of the dangers of a nuclear-ready terrorist-run Iraq, which didn't exist in reality.
Bush and his Republican Administrative plans for Iraq were simple:
U.S. troops cleared the roads to the economic centre of Baghdad, took control of Government buildings including the financial buildings, to prevent looting.
The U.S. then immediately worked on plans to redistribute Iraq's oil by creating PSA's (production sharing agreements) for foreign oil companies while Iraq was unnecessarily bombed for the first year of 2003-2004.
U.S. construction companies soaked up the contracts to rebuild Iraq, including a company run by brother of President Bush. Reconstruction money sent to Iraq was laundered - $20 Billion was squandered or stolen.
The chaos from many angles has enslaved the Iraqis in their own country. Iraqis fear to leave their houses because of the civil, guerilla and Allied wars.
The U.S. promised to set Iraq free, but more Iraqis have been killed than have been rescued. Iraq's borders were never properly secured, and are open for others to launch massive guerilla attacks on Iraqis and Allies. Clean water and electricity are scarce - the basic services which President Bush promised to restore in Iraq have not been restored.
In other Muslim countries, public opinion is against the U.S. Many see President Bush and others as extremist 'Christian' crusaders, who, like others in history invaded the East to control oil. The U.S. oil industry and U.S.
