FOOTBALL'S BACK!!
The new English Premier League season gets underway on Saturday kicking off nine months of entertainment and top-class action from the most exciting league in the world, and it's already promising to be one of the most exciting title races in years. Only 97 days after Manchester United celebrated their 10th Premier League crown, the action begins again as Arsenal take on West Brom at 1245 BST. Chelsea have their new man in charge, Luiz Felipe Scolari, who will enjoy pitting his wits against Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson, while Rafa Benitez has Robbie Keane to add to his strikeforce as Liverpool look to end their title drought. Elsewhere, it'll be a big day in Hull as they entertain Fulham for their first-ever Premier League match, while Stoke travel to Bolton. Yes, it's back!
SATURDAY 16th AUGUST
Arsenal v West Bromwich Albion - (Kick-off 1245 BST)
ARSENAL
A summer where Arsenal snapped up highly-rated French midfielder Samir Nasri and pipped Manchester United to the signing of Aaron Ramsey, as well as keeping hold of much-coveted striker Emmanuel Adebayor should be one that Arsene Wenger would look back on fondly. However, the loss of both Alex Hleb and Mathieu Flamini has left Wenger's squad looking too small and too young to sustain a title challenge, with little sign that he wants to remedy this situation before the end of the month. Of course, if Adebayor can find some consistency across a full season and if the youngsters continue to grow into world class players, the Gunners will still be a force to be reckoned with on their day.
