www.skgink.com Sarah Kelly Grundy, born Kelly Grundy and through a biblical twist of fate and a persistent several "no me Sarah's" later, had herself renamed at age 2 Sarah Kelly Grundy. Formerly the only child in the family without a middle name? I've been writing since birth, everything and anything that mattered. I grew up in the 'jungle of Jersey'. Utterly forestry, 1/2 mile from the road, during the snow months we used to get stuck walking up the driveway as the car could not make it. We had hills and valleys, stables and caves, vines and probably mines that was my backyard. At the strike of 17 I left for the city, attended MaryMount Manhattan College on 71st street for 4-years studying Communication Arts and Psychology. New York City contributed a great deal to my education; I learned more from the city than from a 40,000+ costly college coaxing miseducation (not entirely useless by any means.) I've worked with Dr.'s for a good while, learning my interpersonal skills and utilizing my Psychology education. In the dark cages of Harlem with the world of culture at my finger tips my destiny was discovered. I found myself a writer in radio and broadcast television monitoring. Working with the major networks such as NBC's Today Show and top airwave giants such as Bloomberg radio and WOR's Joan Hamburg, 1010 WINS and more. That was my world at home with my television, radio and computer for over a decade. I had to step out of the box. I've since published my work in Hometown Magazine, Scene Magazine, Herald-Tribune and Tampa Bay's channel 10 Metromix. My photographs have been featured on the cover and along with savvy, colorful editorial, caught the eyes of the likes of ABC and SRQ Magazine. With a children's book in the works, 'Metamorphosis' column aspirations, a story about Love and Loss unrevealed I have lots of exciting work ahead of me. The words won't stop, haunting me in my sleep, I awake to write them down, and visions flood my camera seeing art in every corner and shadow.
