It was highly emotional. I tried to compose myself because I didn’t want to be crying in there. Whatever will be, will be, and the decision’s had already been made. The least I could do was hold it together until I got outside. When the decision came through and Lisa said I had to go, it really hit me that it was over. Modeling, and being with girls that I had become friends with despite everything, was all I had known for the last nine weeks. For it all to be just snatched away and to be taken back to the real world was a massive shock.
"Cat" Fights
I got a little bit put off by the atmosphere and I thought it was sad that it went that way, to be honest. It kind of reinforces the sad idea that the modeling world is bitchy when really, it doesn’t have to be.
I think it depends what kind of person you are. You can be very competitive or you can be a little bit more compassionate. I wanted to get along with people as much as anything because it’s all about networking. If you seem to have a bad attitude or are viewed as being a generally not nice person, people aren’t going to want to work with you. You have to tread carefully.
I’m the kind of person who will people the benefit of the doubt. And I did. On the last show, when I spoke with Catherine about her talking about me behind my back, I told her, “Fair enough, if you didn’t say it.
