Hello Everyone my name is Michael and live in a small town in New Jersey, in the USA. Where I live you have a spectacular view of the New York Skyline, directly across from The Empire State Building. Most people would pay anything to see this and I see it every day. The picture shown here is our pet dog Sandie Girl.

A little about myself. I am 56 years young and had my share of problems both as a child and as an adult. Let me explain. At the age of 17 I was in an automobile accident and lost both of my legs above the knee. At first I didn't know what to do with myself with this new means of life being in a wheelchair and lucky to have many good friends. I left the hospital in May of 1969 and mostly stay at home or hung out with my friends. This went on until August and then I started to think "Am I Going To Be This Way The Rest Of My Life"? From that I said the hell with this I packed a few things in my bag and went to Woodstock with a few friends of mine.:- ) This was the best thing I did because it opened my eyes and accepted my being in a wheelchair and had no choice but to take life as it comes. Boy did I grow up in a hurry and did I. Since then I did whatever I wanted to I traveled a whole lot playing wheelchair basketball. I got married at the age of 23 to a beautifully person and now have two precious children, a boy and a girl which I was blessed with as they are both great people and I cannot be any happier with what I was blessed with.

With all this going on married two fantastic children and my second life tragedy hits. When I was in the hospital from the car accident I received 37 blood transfusions. Back then they didn't check the blood the way they do now. To make the story short I wound up with Liver problems and was diagnosed with needing a liver transplant. August of 2000 I got a call asking me to go to the hospital because they had a liver for me. I looked at my children and said to myself I have to do this for them, they need me and I need to get the transplant in order to stay alive. On the 10th. the transplant was performed and I would guess you know the rest. I am still here and doing quite well since the surgery which is more than 7 years ago.

We know face another problem my wife needs to have a Kidney Transplant. The only thing I could think of is why in the world would this all happen to one family? I have created a website for her (Giving Life Is Precious) and I thank the Lord above that I have this ability of doing this, which I have been doing for may years now. Please do our family a big favor and help us find a kidney donor in two ways, become the kidney donor needed must be blood type O, or you can get involved in our "Email Campaign For A Kidney Donor". It’s really very simple and it could be you who will find the person we are looking for to save her life. All it is, is you request a letter I have generated to send to all the people on your email list, however the most important thing is to ask them to do the same using the same letter and emailing it to all the people in their email list and so on. You can receive this letter either by going to the website or requesting it from here by sending me an email at givinglife@givinglifeisprecious.com

I would like at this time to thank you for reading my profile and would hope to talk to you soon, please at least get involved with our Email Program, this would be a tremendous way of helping my wife to live with our family for many years to come.

Thank you and may the Angels above look over you and your family forever,

Michael
