It can be a pretty daunting task trying to figure out what it is you truly want to do with your life…

Some of us have been blessed with the knowledge of our purpose, our drive, and our hearts’ passion. Then there are the rest of us, who are frustrated with jobs that pay the rent, pass our time from 9-5 p.m., and we whined up the “Jack of all Trades, Masters of None” and are STILL trying it figure out why we were put here on Earth.

I am one of the ‘Lucky Ones’. I’ve always known what it is I want to do with my life, however making ‘It’ happen, has been one of my hardest feats to tackle.

Your 20s are just that. They are yours. This is a unique time in your life to ultimately create your OWN life, create your OWN career, make your OWN dreams a reality! You can OWN it all. The only cautionary note is, be prepared to battle. You will face demons internally and externally, but if you really really want it, you’ll do anything to chase the dream.

I mean let’s face it, if it was easy everyone would do it!

So how do you start chasing that Ultimate Goal?

First, figure out what that Ultimate Goal is? What makes you happy? What inspires you? Dream Big because when you limit what you want, you start to create unnecessary boundaries.

Make yourself a “workback schedule”. Go through all the steps it would take to achieve your Ultimate Goal.

Then set yourself a Priority List. Give those Priorities deadlines, and soon you’ll feel the rewards of achieving your short term goals!

It will amaze you how these simple tasks can boost your confidence, self-esteem, and momentum!

Finally, you will all face hurdles along the way.
