I Want To Prosecute George W. Bush For Murder

The Prosecution of George W. Bush For Murder

The evidence of his guilt is overwhelming.

If justice means anything in America, and if we’re not going to forget about these 4,000 young American soldiers who came back from Bush’s war in a box or a jar of ashes, I say we have no choice but to bring murder charges against the son of privilege from Crawford, Texas. '

Editor's Note: If there was a prosecutorial Hall of Fame, Vincent Bugliosi would be one of its top stars. He is responsible for putting Charles Manson behind bars for the murders of Sharon Tate and six others in 1969, and with a 100 per cent conviction rate in 21 murder cases, this retired L.A. County Deputy District Attorney is now author of three New York Times number one bestselling books (including the biggest selling true-crime book in publishing history, Helter Skelter). In his latest book, The Prosecution of George W. Bush for Murder, Bugliosi says he proves beyond all reasonable doubt that George W. Bush took the nation to war in Iraq on a lie and is therefore criminally responsible for the deaths of over 4,000 young American soldiers who have died fighting his war. Ladies and gentlemen, you be the judge.

Although perhaps billions of harsh, condemnatory words have been said and written about George Bush in the last seven years (none of which, by the way, he could possibly care less about), no one has done anything against George Bush. No impeachment, not even an investigation of him. But I’ve put together a case against Bush that could result in his being prosecuted for first degree murder in an American courtroom. I have set forth the legal architecture for the case against Bush, detailing the overwhelming evidence of his guilt and establishing the jurisdiction to prosecute him.

At this moment, Bush has temporary immunity; he can not be prosecuted while he is still in office. But the US constitution is very clear that once he leaves office, he can be prosecuted for any crimes he committed while he was President. And there’s no statute of limitations for the crime of murder.

Exhibit A: The White Paper

Bush started talking about Hussein and Iraq for the first time in a speech to the nation on October 7, 2002 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He told the American people that Hussein was a great danger to our nation, either by Hussein attacking us with weapons of mass destruction, or by giving these weapons to some terrorist group to attack us. He said this attack could happen “on any given day,” meaning the threat was imminent.

But October 1, 2002, just six days earlier, the CIA sent Bush its 2002 national intelligence estimate, a classified top secret report that represented the consensus opinion of all 16 US intelligence agencies on the issue of whether or not Hussein was an imminent threat.

On page eight of that 91-page report, it unequivocally said that Hussein was not an imminent threat to the security of this country.

Here's Bugliosi's opening statements during the House Judiciary Committee hearing on the constitutional limits of executive power.

Can We The People hire Vincent Bugliosi as a Class Action prosecution?

What do you think Mr. Bugliosi, will you take our case?

OK then, how do we get started? Where can we donate? How much to get started?

If we don't do it this time we will lose our country for sure the next time they get into power. Just look at the progression of Rights lost in Nixon, Reagan, and Bush 1. We didn't respond then and it has only gotten bolder.

I remember going to my first Bush protest march in LA in 2001. I had moved down from Vancouver in 2000. You can see the distain for Bush in these protesters in the images I took in LA. Bush should be charged with murder, I agree and yes that's an understatement. Of course it won't happen, but it's a good thought. America is in a fast decline and whether it will survive only history will tell. Democracy has committed suicide, but perhaps we never were a democracy, at least not in the true sense of the word. As jobs continue to disappear and business's continue to go bankrupt, hope dies. It's tragic and sad. Many of those I work with are scared like never before. For so long American's have been blind to what is going on in their own nation and now it's taking some major crisis to educate them, not all though, much ignorance remains and most will never get it. They can no longer look away to Hollywood, to going to the river every weekend and drinking beer and paying no mind. Major pain is on the way.

A favorite quote by Bruce Cole:

"A nation that does not know why it exists or what it stands for cannot be expected to long endure. We must recover from the amnesia that shrouds our history in darkness, our principles in confusion, and our future in uncertainty. We cannot expect that a nation which has lost its memory will keep its vision. We cannot hope that forgetting our past will enhance our focus for the future."

I agree with Luyen, and meant to add in my post that up to one million Iraqi deaths have occurred. America has been incredibly negligent regarding 'collateral damage', and many innocent Iraqis were simply murdered, quite often for the amusement of the invaders.

In addition, it is known that at least one hundred prisoners at Abu Grahaib, Bagram, and elsewhere have died under torture. Perhaps at Guantanamo as well, where suicides are considered 'asymmetrical acts of war'. And there are many secret 'black sites', so the total number of murdered prisoners is unknown. It is important to note that many of these unfortunates are completely innocent people 'sold' for ransom or simply swept up in American hysteria.

Also, more and more thoughtful people are questioning the excuse for all of this, the official version of 9/11, which does not stand up to even cursory examination.

Thanks for reiterating the fact that Bugliosi recognizes the hundreds of thousands of lives lost in Iraq, most of which are Iraqi civilians... his problem is that there is no jurisdiction for those murders in the US, so the only deaths he can legally hold Bush accountable for are the lives of the American soldiers. I'm sure he wished it were otherwise.

I would rather see George Bush prosecuted for Guantanamo Bay, not only did they engage in acts that broke the Geneva convention, but they took many people who were low-level criminals, and now have become "terrorists" because they were tortured in those prisons.

As for the tragic loss of American young men and women abroad in Iraq, not to sound callous, but they willingly joined the army and fought, so yes Bush as a leader is responsible for misleading them, but he doesn't bear the entire responsibility for "murdering" them.

Most certainly some type of pressure against Bush at the earlier stages of raw-raw patriotic zeal, would have possibly let cooler heads prevail at the time...

Prosecuting Bush (and Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld, and a whole host of lesser evils) would be a humble beginning in the restoration of Americ's lost honor.

However, I have great fears that Bush/Cheney will find a pretext to name themselves 'Dear Leaders-For-Life' and thus avoid prosecution.

Whether he succeeds or not, Mr. Bugliosi has already rendered a valuable service by outlining the case and by bringing it to the attention of the world.

And thanks to Robyn too.

Bravo, and good luck in your quest to find the brave prosecutor. I will be waiting with bated breath.
