After stunning audiences week after week, Kherington and her partner Twitch were separated. Same goes for Gev and his parter Kourtney. It looks like Kherington and Gev couldn't handle the break-up, and that's why they're going home.

Elimination

Kherington: It’s always going to be a shock, but you always have to prepare yourself for the worst, and that’s what I did. But still, it’s always a shock and it’s still sad. It’s definitely tough, and you have to tell yourself it’s really mind over matter. You have to keep telling yourself to keep your head up and everything, and I always have tried to keep a positive attitude about this whole experience no matter what

Gev: Well honestly everybody on the show is very prepared for Thursdays. We kind of have the mindset that there is a chance we’re going to get voted off and there’s a chance we’re going to be in the bottom, but you’re never too prepared for it. It was a shock for me; it was very unexpected. But I felt like I was somewhat ready for it.

Getting Seperated

Gev:I definitely missed her; Courtney and I had such a good bond while we were dancing. We were together for a while, so we really got used to each other. We kind of developed a relationship, and when we switched partners you have to go through that all over again, so it was just a hard switch to do. She and Chelsie are very different.

When I was dancing, honestly, I didn’t feel like I wasn’t there emotionally as Nigel said. I felt like I really gave it all I had. But yes, I missed her.

Kherington: Twitch was awesome to work with. I think why we worked so well together is because we were both easy to work with, we took correction from one another really well, and we knew how each other worked so we played off of that. We just really clicked. I don’t think it was a disadvantage not being with him that last week.
