Show and tell time on Orato.com...Apparently I never got out from under the rock I was born from, because I'd never seen this video before today, and well, I'm pretty sure it's the coolest thing I've ever seen. Warm your hands on this gem.

Did they come out with an album? That piece of rock history was awesome. It would be a great piece of history to add to my music collection.

Someone in another forum noted the little dig John Lennon made in the opening:

"Lennon was such a witty guy....did anyone else pick the reference when he said "those are the days i wanna hold your man"...reminding Mick that it was John and Paul who wrote The Rolling Stones hit "I Wanna Be Your Man".....and look at Mick's reaction lol. Poor old Mick couldn't keep up with him, John was the only guy who ever put Mick in his place and showed him who was boss. RIP John."

I'm just reading Clapton, the Autobiography, and as you might expect, John Lennon is a frequent entry. By the way, here's an interesting generational transition...Clapton passing the Crossroads torch to John Mayer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zh4n1bZi4d8

That's pretty cool too...John Mayer has since had some very impressive ink work done - seems strange to see him play the guitar sans tattoos. Eric Clapton rocks...
